During the Holy Days of Easter and while our country is affected both socially and economically by the coronavirus pandemic, the Cooperative Bank of Chania continues implementing its commitment to support the local community. In particular, on Monday, April 13, the Bank distributed 5 tons of lamb to 21 local social groceries and soup kitchens, in order to be latern on distributed to our fellow citizens who find it hard covering basic necessities.

The Cooperative Bank of Chania understands its role as that of an active citizen. It is an inherent part of the local community and thus it constantly undertakes actions aimed at supporting the local community and economy. The Bank will continue to be in solidarity with all vulnerable social groups but also with society as a whole.
